There are no comprehensive, up-to-date guides to bouldering around Tucson. One of the goals of this site is to fill those gaps. Here are a few things to get you started:
For info on sport and trad climbing in the area, I highly recommend picking up Squeezing The Lemmon II by Eric Fazio-Rhicard. Swing by the Summit Hut and grab one if you don't already have a copy.
A couple of online guides are also available, and again Mountain Project is a good source:
- MY CRAPPY TOPOS
- Tucson Bouldering Guide by Tyler McMillen - a pretty good guide from a few years back, graciously available as a download. Accurate descriptions and good topos, but plenty of new stuff has been developed since then.
- DrTopo's guide to Gates Pass
- DrTopo's guide to Cochise Stronghold campground bouldering

- Tucson Sport Climbing Select (McMillen guide) - another good guide that will get you started on some of Tucson's best sport climbs
- Toofasts's Topos - high quality topos for many popular Cochise routes from Geir and his dog Toofast
- Backcountry Climbing in Southern Arizona - out of print Bob Kerry guide, your ticket for classic adventure climbs and obscure sketchfests.
